All prefolds start as super soft/non-pilly Indian Cotton (sweat shop free)..all are DSQ and Premium 4X8X4! They are dyed or tie-dyed in chemical free/fiber reactive procion dye. The dye does not run or bleed as it has become part of the diaper. The prefolds have been washed in chemical free (Maggies Soap Nuts) detergent 6 times during the dying process...these come to you ready to use!!
